NDIS announces funding for Aboriginal interpreters in the NT
NDIS registered providers and participants now have access to funded Aboriginal interpreting services in the Northern Territory.
The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has entered into an agreement with Northern Territory Aboriginal Interpreting Services (AIS) to deliver these services.
This agreement allows registered providers to access NDIA-funded Aboriginal interpreting services when providing services and supports to participants who need an Aboriginal interpreter.
To log the service for payment by the NDIS, registered providers should enter the following information in the specified fields:

How to book an AIS interpreter
Registered providers can book an aboriginal interpreter from the AIS website.To log the service for payment by the NDIS, registered providers should enter the following information in the specified fields:

- Section/business unit field: Your business name
