About this Hub

In addition to preparing students for a possible career in the disability sector, student placements can provide a range of valuable learning experiences for all involved. While beneficial for the sector at large, getting the most from a student placement program requires ongoing preparation, planning, communication and evaluation.

To support the sector’s provision of quality student placements, this Hub consists of information and resources for supervisors (new or experienced), managers, and students.

The Student Placement Hub was developed with the support and expertise of the Disability Workforce Education Reference Group (NSW). The group consists of a variety of representatives from educational, disability and health organisations to discuss student education, practitioner education and student placements.
